What are your prices?
Every design is different, so every price is different! It all depends on the number of inserts or layers, the sort of paper you use, and so on. I am happy to discuss your needs and give you an initial estimate.
Can you print my invitations as well as design them?
Yes. Because I have a background in advertising, I have worked with some great printers across the US.
Do you offer a design-only option, so that I can print the invitations elsewhere?
Yes, some of my clients prefer to arrange their own printing. If that's the case for you, I'll provide you with all the files the printer will need.
What is the process?
I'll ask you a few initial questions by phone, email or we can even meet up for a coffee! We can discuss what style of invitation will best compliment your event, paper options, colors, and all the fabulous little details that will make your invitation perfect for your special day. From here I will send you and initial estimate along with a contract if you so choose to utilize my services.
Once I have received a signed contract and deposit, I will begin the design process! Every invitation I create is custom to you and your style. I provide all my clients with PDF proofs for review. Initially the proofs will help aid in figuring out the overall layout, theme and font choices. The extras such as RSVP cards and reception details will follow. I require each proof to be signed off on before I get them into production. Proofing is your responsibility!
What is your lead time?
I have a 4-5 month minimum lead time. If you know your wedding date please contact me and I will place you in my books!
How much do custom stamps cost?
Currently, I use zazzle.com to create custom stamps. Please keep in mind that they do cost more than regular postage. I charge a small fee for providing this service.
Can you make up a sample?
Sorry, but because every invitation is custom-made, it's very expensive to create a single sample. I would be happy to send you paper samples and ribbons.
What date should I use on my RSVP cards?
I suggest to all my brides that they set a date 4-5 weeks before their wedding.
What other services do you offer?
Virtually anything! I am happy to create seating arrangements, table numbers, programs, signs, or anything else you might need - all coordinatetd with your wedding invitation.
Do you supply you clients with an estimate before beginning a project?
Yes. During the initial consultation we will discuss all the details of your invitation. This will help in providing a more accurate estimate before any design work takes place.
Do you assemble invitations?
Sure! I am happy to assemble all invitations for a small cost.
Do you address invitations?
Yes, if you wish! I am not a calligrapher by any means, but with technology these days, I can provide printers with an excel file of your guest list and have them printed directly onto a label or directly on the envelope itself. Your invitations can look as if they've been addressed by a calligrapher! Click here to view samples.
